Mission Statement

The Excelsior Fire District Governing Board adopted the following Mission Statement for the District:

The Excelsior Fire District is committed to protecting and enhancing the quality of life of those who live, work and play within our community.

    This will be achieved by:

• Fire Suppression
• Emergency Medical Services
• Fire Prevention
• Community Awareness
• Hazardous Materials Mitigation
• Disaster Response

The Excelsior Fire District will act in ways that will benefit the overall community.

Unique needs of individual Cities will be given consideration to ensure that Public Safety is consistent throughout the District

The Volunteer Firefighters  are the backbone of the EFD. The tradition and mutual dedication of the Firefighters and the EFD will ensure that our volunteer fire department will be cherished, respected and preserved.
