Beaches

Lifeguards are on duty over the Summer at the following beaches, please call city hall for exact dates and times as these change year to year, from early June through the middle or end of August.

Deephaven Beaches usually "close" approximately August 15th each year, please contact city hall for the exact date. Once the beaches are closed there will be no lifeguards on duty after that date. Swim at your own risk.

• Deephaven Beach
• Linwood Beach
• Nocomo Beach
• Robinson's Bay Beach
• Rocky Beach
• Sandy Beach

Children must be at least 10 years old to swim at any public beach (with lifeguard on duty) without direct, competent supervision.   

Please be considerate of other beach users and use the trash receptacles. Remember, if you could bring it to the beach, you could bring it home from the beach.

Please display our current City of Deephaven parking sticker on your vehicle.

Lifeguard Schedule

Beaches open officially around  mid -June of each year, check with city hall for exact dates.

Beaches "close" - with no more lifeguard duty mid-August of each year, check with city hall for exact dates.

Deephaven Main Beach - Lifeguards on duty everyday 11:00am to 7:00pm, weather permitting.

Robinson's Bay Beach and Sandy Beach - Lifeguards on duty everyday 12:00pm to 5:00pm, weather permitting.

The City of Deephaven has contracted with the Minnetonka Community Education Center, an American Red Cross authorized provider, to provide swimming lessons at St. Louis Bay, Main Beach.  Please call the MCEC at 952-401-6801 for further information.

Deephaven City Offices will be closed on the following dates:

2012:  January 2, 16. February 20, April 6, May 28, July 4, September 3, October 8, November 12, 22, 23 and December 25th.
