SPECIAL COUNCIL WORK SESSION

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2006

1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.

PRESENT: Mayor Tom Anderson, Councilmembers Paul Skrede, Keith Kask, John Wheaton and Kim Crockett

STAFF: City Administrator Dana Young

2. UNFINISHED BUSINESS

A. Discuss EFD Funding Allocation Formula

Councilmember Paul Skrede presented information on the proposed revision to the EFD Funding Allocation Formula. He stated that it was his intent to demonstrate that there was a need to address the formula, to outline the process required to change the formula and to provide a revised usage formula for discussion purposes.

Following a review of the presented information, it was the general consensus of the Council to have this issue brought forth to the Excelsior Fire District Board and instructed staff to have a resolution presented at the next Council meeting that would request a review of the allocation formula.

Mayor Anderson adjourned the meeting at 6:50 p.m.
