The Southshore Center is located at 5735 Country Club Road, in Shorewood and principally serves the residents of Deephaven, Tonka Bay, Greenwood, Excelsior and Shorewood.  This facility was built with support from the five cities and community contributions. The SouthShore Center provides a wonderful place for area residents to meet, learn and be active. The vitality of the center continues to expand after nearly 10 years. The SouthShore embraces the principle that healthy and artful living results from socialization, purposeful volunteer activities, continuing education, physical and mental activities.

Activities, services and programs include health screening, exercise and dance classes, tax assistance and a wide range of cultural and educational opportunities from craft activities, watercolor classes, history lectures, bridge, to book discussions groups.
