Road Weight Restrictions

Before planning your project, please remember, road weight restrictions are in effect in Deephaven every March 1st through May 1st.  If you will be moving heavy loads or equipment, please make certain your builder or contractor is aware of the road weight limits during that time. 

 

MARCH 1ST TO MAY 1ST,

NO Overweight Permits are issued during this time. If an overweight permit is needed for public safety or an emergency situation they must be approved by the Deephaven City Planner, call 952-474-4755.

From March 1st through May 1st, Midnight,  load limits are as follows:

Vine Hill Road                 6 TON per Axel

Minnetonka Blvd.            6 TON per Axel

ALL OTHER ROADS         4 TON per Axel

THE ONLY EXCEPTIONS ARE THE FOUR ROADS LISTED BELOW: 

Andover Place                 7 TON - YEAR ROUND

Old Kent Road                 7 TON - YEAR ROUND

St. James Gate                7 TON - YEAR ROUND 

Cottagewood Road (From Vine Hill to Minnetonka Blvd)    4 TON - YEAR ROUND

 

 

MAY 2ND TO FEBRUARY 28,     ALL ROADS ARE 9 TON PER AXEL
